This full update and partial renovation of a 4 bedroom oceanview condo in Ocean City, Maryland is a Timeless Design favorite. The clients reside states away from the property and relied on our team to hire tradespeople and manage the project details including establishing timelines and managing product procurement.
Project highlights include:
-
New wood-look flooring: Timeless Design specified top-rated Luxury Vinyl Plank throughout the condo to update the look and feel of the flooring. The underlying tile required leveling in order to accommodate the new product.
-
Custom millwork: custom millwork throughout adds character to the long entry hallways and defines the dining area in the open floor plan. New elements were skillfully tied into the existing crown molding.
-
Kitchen update: a partial remodel of the kitchen completely rejuvenated the space. The bar-height portion of the peninsula was cut down to maximize ocean views. New “Calcutta Marble” quartz countertops, glass backsplash tile, and chrome fixtures added modern shine.
-
Custom window treatments: ripplefold drapes throughout compliment the feel of each room and frame the ocean views while also blocking out the fading power of the sun when the condo is not in use.
-
Electric fireplace: a custom designed built in houses an electric fireplace for rainy days or off-season visits and a large TV for family movie nights. The stone surround links to the backsplash in the adjacent kitchen and the blue grasscloth wallpaper provides a dramatic backdrop for accessories.
-
New furniture: new upholstered furniture features performance fabrics which are easily cleaned with soap and water.
-
Stylish bedrooms: each bedroom has individual style while also adding to the cohesive feel of the condo design. The blue, white, and grey color palette is repeated with unique twists to create a casual coastal chic style.
-
Bathroom refreshes: each bathroom was updated with minimal monetary investment. New paint, lighting, fixtures, and glass shower doors were accented with lively art.
